Student Library Assistants

Casual Position: $13.00 per hour

Start Date: January, 2019

The Libraries are looking for highly committed students who work independently, cooperatively, thoughtfully, and with scrupulous attention to detail. Library student workers assist in the lending and borrowing processes of the Library. Students perform check-in and check-out procedures on circulation and also process items returned to our library. Students also collect for late fees and fines. Students assist with creating student ID cards and the reading of book shelves. This position requires heavy computer use and the ability to troubleshoot with software questions and printing is important. Students are expected to be courteous at all times to patrons, faculty and staff and are expected to be able to work independently once trained.
